Sunday Services - from Sunday 1 October 2017

Welcome to St Martin's Church, Liskeard. From 1 October 2017 the times of our church services changed. The new timings are:

9:30 Services in the church : A more formal and traditional church service with Choir and a Choral setting and teaching.

The pattern of service through the month is:

1st Sunday: Holy Communion
2nd Sunday: Morning Prayer
3rd Sunday: Morning Prayer 
4th Sunday: Holy Communion

5th Sunday
: United benefice service- in the church at 10:30. This will be the only service in the morning.

11:00 Services in the upper church hall: An informal style, family friendly, worship with music and teaching. The service lasts about 1 hour and there is children’s and youth activities at each service. The pattern of service throughout the month is:

1st Sunday: Morning Praise 
2nd Sunday: Morning Praise
3rd Sunday: Morning Praise
4th Sunday: Morning Praise and Communion

5th Sunday: United benefice service- in the church at 10:30. This will be the only service in the morning.

 

6.00 p.m. Evening Service The 6 o’clock services vary considerably. They include: • An Evening Prayer Service - a reflective time using different styles of prayer. • Holy Communion with the Healing Ministry. • Praise Service (once every three months) - informal worship led by a group of musicians, teaching and opportunity for personal prayer. • Choral Evening Prayer. • Special services, such as those based around music from Taize or worshipping with the Psalms • Combined services with other denominations through Liskeard Churches Together

• 2nd Sunday: Informal worship - in upper church hall
• 3rd Sunday: Cafe-style worship - in the upper church hall
• 4th Sunday: Family communion - in upper church hall
5th Sunday: United benefice service- in the church at 10:30. This will be the only service in the morning.

Mid Week Holy Communion 9:30 a.m. followed by our coffee morning, both in the Church Hall.
